At the Merseyside Neighbourhood Watch Quarterly meeting on 22nd June 2026, we had a very informative presentation from Mike Berry, a staff member at the Office of the Police Crime Commissioner for Merseyside. Mike is the PCC Lead for Hate Crime and Community Cohesion, ASB, Mental Health and Addictions. He asked if we could widely circulate number of the helpline which is available for anyone who thinks they may have been a victim of hate crime. Even if you are not sure, the call handler will discuss the circumstances and advise you what steps you can take next. The next meeting will be in September date to be advised. You will be able to attend in person at Mather Avenue Police Academy, or on-line. I will let you know the date when confirmed. Stay safe everyone Lorna Lyons Ourwatch Membership Support Administrator, St Helens
